Our Story
We Didn't Start
in a Boardroom.
It started with a promise to children who had no one to make them one. Parrit Saruni and Esther Moshi grew up near Mount Meru, close enough to see how quickly a young Tanzanian life can be forgotten when hardship arrives. They couldn't unsee it — so together they founded the Happy Miracle Children's Foundation: a safe place to sleep, a reason to stay in school, and the quiet assurance that someone is in your corner.
But a promise like that has to be kept, year after year. Rather than lean on donations that come and go, Parrit and Esther built Happy Miracle Tour and Safari to stand behind the Foundation — sharing the Tanzania they love so the children they love would never go without. The safari company was never the dream; it is how the dream keeps breathing.
Today the two are inseparable. Every game drive, every summit on Kilimanjaro, and every quiet evening on Zanzibar sends a portion straight back to a child's meals, school fees, and future. When you travel with us, you are not just seeing Tanzania at its most beautiful — you are helping a young Tanzanian call it home.
