Climb Mount Kilimanjaro with Expert Guides
Africa's Highest Peak. Your Greatest Achievement.
The Roof of Africa
About Mount Kilimanjaro
Standing at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet), Mount Kilimanjaro is Africa's tallest mountain and the world's highest free-standing volcano. Located in northern Tanzania near Arusha, it is one of the Seven Summits and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Unlike technical mountaineering peaks, Kilimanjaro is a trekking mountain — no ropes, no ice axes, no prior climbing experience required. What it demands is determination, proper preparation, and the right guide team by your side.
We have guided hundreds of climbers to the summit with a safety-first approach, certified guides, and a deep respect for the mountain and its ecosystems.

Gear & Preparation Tips
Proper preparation is the key to a successful summit. Here's what we recommend — and we'll send you a detailed packing list when you book.
Fitness
Start training 6–8 weeks before your climb. Focus on cardio, hiking with a loaded pack, and stair climbing. No need for extreme fitness — consistent preparation matters most.
Essential Gear
Layered clothing system, waterproof jacket, warm down jacket, hiking boots (broken in!), headlamp, daypack, sun protection, and a positive attitude.
Altitude Awareness
The "pole pole" (slowly, slowly) approach is key. Stay hydrated, listen to your guides, and don't push too hard on summit night. Acclimatization days are built into our itineraries.

Kilimanjaro FAQ
You don't need to be an athlete, but a reasonable level of fitness is important. If you can hike for 5-6 hours with a daypack, you're in good shape. We recommend starting a training program 6-8 weeks before your climb.
Our success rate is over 85%, thanks to proper acclimatization scheduling and experienced guides. Longer routes like Lemosho (7-8 days) have even higher success rates.
Altitude sickness can affect anyone regardless of fitness. Our guides monitor your health daily, we carry emergency oxygen, and our itineraries include acclimatization days. The key is to go slowly ("pole pole") and stay hydrated.
For first-timers with limited time, Marangu (5-6 days) is popular. For the best summit success rate, we recommend Lemosho (7-8 days). Machame offers the best scenery, and Rongai is ideal for those who prefer fewer crowds.
Absolutely! Many clients add a 3-7 day safari after their climb. It's the perfect way to recover and celebrate your achievement while experiencing Tanzania's incredible wildlife.
The best months are January-March and June-October. These are the driest periods with the clearest skies. We do operate year-round, and rainy season climbs are possible at lower rates.
